Nevertheless it was a challenge this year with ups and downs. Performance is a time consuming thing and you often work on something, which then doesn't turn out to be useful at all. Don't ask me how often I made Cycles slower in my tests this summer. :P <br /> <br /> * I want to thank my mentor Sergey, for help and guidance throughout the summer, much appreciated. And it was fun to discuss and argue with you about Cycles. :D <br /> <br /> * Also thanks to Brecht, who helped me at the beginning of this years GSoC, and gave me some great ideas beforehand on what I can work on.
