Maxon Computer gmbh is a privately owned company. Such companies only have to deposit balance sheets, which doesn't give a lot tangible information.
It still gives some clues for the size and revenues of the company. Especially the "Kassenbestand" (active money on the bank) indicates a buffer they are required to have to manage the monthly cashflow.
With 1M on the bank, they won't have more expenses than about 6M annually. Minus profits and costs that's maximum 5M license sales, or about 6-8k products sold. Active Cinema4d licenses therefore is in the range of 5k then (assuming BodyPaint sells quite good). A developer team of 10-15 people would match the picture.
