i propose we look at these issues from API improvement pov too: we should make the good behaviours well supported, as in easy to program in the scripts. --ToniAlatalo

Would it not be better to use the blender.org python forum to discuss? After all it's about development, not using. --Joeri

Toni: for sure, that's part of the plan, too, badly needed.

Joeri: it's about using, too. Improvements oriented by user input.

At least for now, the popular BA forum seems better, because we need to get the project well known (not just announcement, it's important that people read what we're doing) or else it won't happen. From experience, such initiatives have lost momentum quickly in the past, we were not able to get enough help.

Ideally, this project should not be restricted to people interested in scripting. If we want well integrated scripts, they must work as well as possible for all users.
