• cloth - still in progress
• python - a request to check and ensure the bundled scripts work with python 2.3
• render - ton can finish his todo on the renderer in a short number of days

• please check (and fix or pass to a more appropriate person) your assigned bugs - 35 is the target Ton would like to achieve for release - currently we are at 64

Siggraph Booth

go/no go is 17th/18th for 'open source pavillion' decision.

SOC

Not much to report currently. 26 total submittals

Orange 2

• Next orange could start in oct/nov
• Ton would like to have more developers this time, possible done via SOC style funding method
• Costs of Elephants Dream was 120,000 euros of which 25% was funded by Blender Foundation and the rest was funded by partners
• Probably will aim for a commedy this time

Summer of Documentation

• We need to get things documented sooner/faster -
• an idea put forth was 'documentation buddies' a documenter to collaborate with the coder who would both test and give feedback on the development, but also do much of the documentation work
• also Blender Foundation might be willing to do some funding to help encourage documentation a 'blender summer of documentation' - with documenters submitting proposals for what they would document, etc. and then awarding an amount (500 euro) for completed projects
