Installing BlenderPlayer on Android

Requirements

• • Android 2.3 or higher
  • Support for OpenGL ES 2.0
  • File Browser App.

Installing

• Make sure that sideloading of applications is enabled
  • Settings->Applications
  • Check "Unknown sources"
• Download blenderplayer.apk
  • From http://download.blender.org/demo/android/ (latest BlenderPlayer_xx_xx_x.apk)
  • From http://graphicall.org/ by searching "Android" on the top
• If you downloaded to Computer first
  • Transfer the file by connecting Device with USB to computer
  • Mounting SD Card, dragging file to SD Card
  • And disconnecting
• Install blenderplayer.apk by opening it through the browser on device
  • Install like regular app

Installing games

• Download ported games to device
  • They should have .blend extension
• Example: http://www.blender.org/bf/test.blend (Bullet physics demo)

Starting a Game

• First way
  • Open BlenderPlayer
  • Click [Select Game]
    • Select *.blend game file
  • Click [Start BlenderPlayer]
• Second Way
  • In a file browser
  • Open .blend
  • With BlenderPlayer
