I think SUFFIX="m" is a safe guess if you compiled python yourself?

I made some changes to get this to build on Debian/amd64.

I'm using a local-built ffmpeg (more features), local-built Python3, and opencollada (as per the main page).

The resulting executable is 151.3MB, so I guess the default build mode is static.

I don't know enough about cmake/scons/blender-building to change this to use dynamic linking (yet).
