• データブロック名の長さが最大255バイトに増加
• 実行時に決定されるプロパティストレージデータへの（未対応の）アクセスを削除
• ビッグエンディアンの対応が終了
• LZMA と LZO 圧縮のポイントキャッシュ対応が終了
• Intel Mac の対応が終了
• 2.5以前のアニメーション対応が終了.
• Blender の最小要求 GPU を引き上げ
• Cycles: 最小対応 NVIDIA compute capability が sm_50（～ GeForce 900番台）に
• Cycles: Windows での AMD HIP の最小要求 GPU ドライバーが引き上げ
• Blend ファイルの保存時の圧縮がデフォルトで有効に
