Corner widgets position The corner widgets we talk about here are in the top-right and bottom-left corners but you might miss the bottom-left one: it is in the header, not in the view!

Position

Swap two windows

• ALT-Click on a corner widget of the window you wanna move, and drag (you can release the ALT after you start dragging)
• The mouse pointer will change to indicate you're going to swap
• Click on another window to swap the two windows

Creating and destroying windows

Splitting a window

• Click on a corner widget
• Drag toward the inside of the window:
  • moving on the left splits vertically in 2 windows
  • moving down splits horizontally in 2 windows

Collapsing two windows

• Click on the corner widgets in the top-right|bottom-left corner of the window
• Drag toward the outside of the window:
  • moving on the right collapse with any window at the right of the current one
  • moving up collapse with any window above the current one

Duplicate a window in a new application window

• SHIFT-Click on the corner widgets of the window you wanna pullout
• Drag the mouse away
• The window will become a new application window (with all OS decorations and the like) * Note that the former window is not removed from the former application window
