This template contains the current Blender version.

You can specify a variable "series" equal to "2.5", and in that case this template will output the last version of Blender in the 2.5 series.

As a check that this works ok:

not using {{{series}}}

• as of today (2024-04-20) this template assumes that Blender version is: 2.72
• the url to the latest api is: http://www.blender.org/documentation/blender_python_api_2_72_release

using {{{series|2.5}}}

• in the 2.5 series, the latest version is: 2.59
• in the 2.5 series, the url to the latest api is: http://www.blender.org/documentation/blender_python_api_2_59_release
