About Me
I am a blender developer with a few years experience working on the physics and game engine of a 40 person game team. My focus at the blender.org level is on quality assurance for end-users and improving the developer experience. My area of specialization is the physics engine (integration with Bullet), performance and support for physics intensive game projects.
Projects
I am actively working with the documentation team, and developing test units for blender code. I am working on a ray-casting pipeline tutorial from Bullet library -> Blender implementation -> Python API -> GUI user interface in blender -> curating a video/text library of user cases dealing with ray-casting. I also plan to have a lot of fun at the Chu'Unthor Academy.
You can see some tutorials on "Improved physics simulation by adjusting the number of substeps" and "Ray-casting using the python API from within the game engine".
You can also join the Kenny Dorham Sandbox game to learn blender and share your skills in a team environment.

Perspective
I think my GPS is fantastic! But compared to a pepper plant, I'd have to say the plant wins hands down on design and function. I'd like to think that we could hold technology and nature in a fine balance. But here in the US, many senators' response to the hole in the ozone was that people should buy suntan lotion and sunglasses.
I think Coops are great. I also really like to ride my bike around countries large and small. At the moment, I am in the mood for some deep and delicious techy projects. But I hope to someday retire to the farm to watch my pepper plants grow.
