Thank you!
Firstly, thank you for your interest in helping out with the documentation in our Blender Wiki. This page is meant to serve as a short introduction of how to get involved, what needs to be done and how you can help.
Anyone can help! | |
Whether you are a "pro" Blender user, or a beginner, anyone can help make this documentation better |
Make a difference - some simple tasks
There are several easy ways to make a difference which any body can do who has a couple of minutes:
Check for SPAM
If you see a SPAM on the wiki, these can be reported to the Wiki team, via IRC
The Blender documentation channel is #blenderwiki
Typos
If you see a typo on the Wiki, that can be fixed easily, feel free to do so. Be advised that one should always check the Mark as a minor edit box, so the change is clear and simple to spot for the administrators.
Missing pages and incorrect information
You can report missing pages and incorrect info in the channel.
Adding contents to the wiki, be a part of the team
Larger edits should be created in your User Space, this process is outlined in the Writers Guide, you can also ask for help in the #blenderwiki IRC channel.
