BUI (Blender User Interface)
Abstract
Based on the Blender interface style and design principles, a new interface will be created: the Blender User Interface (further know as the 'BUI'). This BUI should be an independent and standalone application, providing a basic interface into which Blender and many other applications might be plugged in, ultimately becoming an operating system by itself. The BUI project uses an adapted Software Development Life Cycle Model, with the core design principles: uniformity, flexibility, intuitive and rock solid! This project will not concern the re-writing of the blender libraries to be plugged into the BUI, that will be up to you ;)
