particles - ideasman is steadily working on integrating jahkas particles and killing remaining bugs

skeleton generator - theeth will be opening up a skeleton branch soon

DSM - joeedh is fighting an elusive bug

mesh deformer - brecht will commit 'use mesh as a deformation lattice' tomorrow

gameengine - zaghaghi has added 1)python interface for enabling 2d-filters and 2)adding a custom filter actuator, that user can input it's shader program in GLSL and use this actuator for custom 2d filter

sound system - hcube is having ffmpeg difficulties with scons/gcc and needs assistance

Peach needs

Enrico requested Volumetric Clouds in Peach blog. there are some questions on this request:

  • Q. Where do you want to see this feature in blender GUI?
    • A. Preferably a material - so you could select between halo and volumetric.
  • Q. There are many implementations of Volumetric Clouds, Do you need a special one, or it's not important.
  • Q. Which one is more important? Render Speed or Realistic Cloud.
    • A. As for rendering speed, as long as its not extremely slow, i.e. doesn't make a complex scene 2x slower or more.
