  • maybe cvs freeze in a week
  • we need documentation and videos (Tom M volunteers) - should be collected in blender.org cms with nice pics also contact creators for permission.
  • Tom M has a pared down scripts list that are suggested for inclusion - need decisions and testing

coming work (wasn't discussed really at meeting)

time to look after 2.40 too..

- sequencer memory patch & ffmpeg (from soc)

in the list for Orange:

- OpenEXR

- Material layers (multiple materials layered on one object)

- Renderpasses

- Compositing

.. could someone else besides Ton (and perhaps Toni) take up something about these?

what do devs want, plan to do otherwise? at least pytex is coming from SoC still, and work has already be done on Python drivers too .. what else?

One interesting area is advanced character animations tools. Tons time is up, but now there is a good base for others to work on. Rolan Hess is already working on the MatchBone feature. Orangers occasional wonder about footstep systems. Probably there are many other cool things that could be done now too.. Lipsync scripts have already appeared, and the shape widgets tool.

And of course there are other areas, like in renderer, the particle system etc. etc.

Also much could be done with the UI.

.. opengl2 material previews?
