Middle Mouse Button

MMB the acronym for the middle button of a 3-button mouse. Pressing MMB while moving the mouse rotates the 3D viewport scene so that the user can view oblique scenes. A 2-button mouse emulates a 3-button mouse by pressing Alt>LMB, where LMB is the left mouse button.
