What do you think about a
- "Shell" - A mesh will have a 'thickness' ... see Editing Requests: Shell modifier resp. ideasman's "Solidify Mesh" script and a
- "Wireframe" - Edges will become cylinder-shaped ... see ideasman's "Soldi Wire" script
modifier? I think such a thing could be usefull for quite a lot of people. --Hoehrer 10:06, 14 August 2006 (CEST)
- Hi Hoehrer, they both sound like worthwhile modifiers, but they would be mesh modifiers, not object modifiers (since they would change the mesh). Artificer 14:18, 14 August 2006 (CEST)
Ok, sorry for my ignorance here. I read Modifiers and directly thought of everything that could be a modifier... ignoring the Object part. So i suppose this 2 would be poroposals for the 'upgraded' mesh modifier stack? ... So they are deformable afterwards?
BTW: Are Mesh&Object modifiers seperated in the Blender-GUI? I didn't see any difference there ... or is it just the changes geometry vs. leaves geometry alone seperation?
