In the second-last line, it is stated- "To connect a bone to its parent, enable its small Con button."
Should it be- "To connect a bone to its parent, select the Connected check box." ?
Similarly, its last line- "To unconnect a bone, disable its Con button."
should be changed to- "To unconnect a bone, deselect the Connected check box."
