I agree that monospace doesn't fit the template, but wouldn't it be a good idea to at least add some color (foreground, background, whatever...) different from the default text? Right now it is basically only italic and doesn't really stand out from the rest of the text :-/ Just have a loot at the various maunal pages that use them ... especially in long texts or menu-references.
On the other side ... would it be a good idea to have seperate templates for menu references (e.g "add -> mesh -> plane" and the like) and maybe buttons/panels? I think I saw someone playing around with similar things recently.
