Doc talk:2.4/Reference
Nodes
The addition of Nodes to Blender brings with it a new type of window and potentially hundreds of graphic processing units. I think we need to add the Node Editor to the Window types section, and create a new section specifically for Nodes:
- Nodes in General
- (common controls, grouping)
- Material Nodes
- (headings and contents as per Add menu)
- Compostion Nodes
- Input
- Color
- Filters
- yada yada (headings and contents as per Add menu)
Timing: I think this change needs to occur with the 2.43 release. C&C, please?--Roger 02:35, 6 December 2006 (CET)
I agree with this change and i just wanted to add that the existing reference pages could be used (with some added sub-pages). Namely Reference/Windows/Nodes, Reference/Windows/Nodes/Material Nodes and Reference/Windows/Nodes/Composite Nodes. Just add the reference-only content from the manual and we're fine. (this was one of the initial reasons for the usage of the "refbox" template anyway) --Hoehrer 14:43, 6 December 2006 (CET)
